Website Terms of Use

Last Updated: September 18, 2026

Website Privacy Policy  ·  Platform Terms of Service

These Website Terms of Use ("these Terms") govern your use of votecivic.com, the public website operated by VoteCivic, LLC ("VoteCivic," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What These Terms Cover

1.1 This website only. These Terms cover votecivic.com: the pages anyone can reach without an account and the forms on those pages. You cannot buy anything, create an account, or log in here.

1.2 The platform is covered separately. These Terms do not govern the VoteCivic platform at app.votecivic.com. Access to and use of the platform is governed by our Terms of Service, which set the agreement with the campaign, committee, or organization that procures it, and our End User License Agreement, which covers the individual who uses it. The Terms of Service are at votecivic.com/terms and the End User License Agreement is at votecivic.com/eula. Where these Terms and those agreements disagree about the platform, those agreements control.

1.3 Privacy. Our Website Privacy Policy, at votecivic.com/privacy, describes what we collect through this website and how we use it.

1.4 Changes. We may revise these Terms by posting a new version here with a new "Last Updated" date. If you keep using the website after we post a change, you accept it.

2. Using This Website

2.1 What you may do. You may read the website, and you may print or save individual pages for your own use or to share inside your organization, as long as you do not remove our notices or present our material as your own. You may link to us.

2.2 Contact files. Some of our team members have a card page here, such as votecivic.com/tony, offering a contact file you can download. It is there so you can get in touch with that person. Please do not use it to add them to a marketing list, a prospecting database, or a resale list.

3. What You May Not Do

Please do not:

We may limit or end your access to the website at any time, without notice, if we think you have broken these Terms or that your use creates risk for us.

4. Our Content and Marks

4.1 What we own. The website and everything on it, including text, graphics, images, product screenshots, video, layout, and design, belongs to VoteCivic or to the people who license it to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Apart from the limited permissions in Section 2, nothing here transfers any ownership to you.

4.2 Our marks. "VoteCivic," our logo, and our other names and marks are ours. Please do not use them without our written permission, and do not register a trademark, business name, domain name, or social account handle that copies them in whole or in part, or that is close enough to be confused with them.

4.3 Other people's marks. Other names and marks on the website belong to their owners. Their appearance does not mean those owners are affiliated with us or endorse us.

5. What We Say About the Product

5.1 General information. What the website says about features, capabilities, integrations, availability, and pricing is general information. It can change without notice. A feature described here may be in development, limited to certain plans, or subject to conditions the page does not list.

5.2 Not an offer. Nothing on this website is an offer, a quote, or a commitment. The terms on which VoteCivic is actually made available are set out in a written agreement between us and the customer.

6. No Professional Advice

Anything we publish here, including guides and explainers, is general information. It is not legal, accounting, tax, or campaign finance advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Using this website does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship. Campaign finance rules differ by jurisdiction and change over time. We do not promise that what is on the website is complete, adequate, or current, and you use it at your own risk.

7. What You Send Us

7.1 Form submissions. You are responsible for what you send us through a form, and you confirm you have the right to send it. Please do not send voter records, donor records, confidential material, or personal information about other people through a public web form. If you need to share that kind of material, contact us first and we will arrange a better way.

7.2 Feedback. If you send us suggestions or ideas about VoteCivic or this website, you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them without any obligation to you.

8. Links and Third-Party Services

This website links to and loads content from services we do not control, including social media platforms, our hosting provider, and font, analytics, and advertising providers. We do not endorse or guarantee them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of one of those services is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT PROBLEMS WILL BE FIXED, THAT IT IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ITS CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Cap. EXCEPT FOR OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, AND UNLESS THE LAW PROHIBITS IT, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

10.2 Indirect damages. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHATEVER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

10.3 Time limit. Unless the law requires otherwise, any claim you have arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website must be filed within one (1) year after it arose. After that it is permanently barred.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VoteCivic and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claim, loss, liability, or proceeding arising from your use of the website in violation of these Terms or the law, or from your violation of someone else's rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to them must be brought only in the state or federal courts in Jefferson County, Alabama, and you consent to those courts having jurisdiction over you.

12.2 No class actions. YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE WEBSITE WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING OR TAKE PART IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER.

12.3 No jury trial. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, EACH PARTY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS.

13. General

13.1 If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

13.2 You may not assign these Terms. We may.

13.3 These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this website, and they replace anything said before on that subject.
